Research Assistant
The Division of Plant and Soil Sciences at West Virginia University seeks a
research assistant to work on organic farming. A B.S. in Agronomy,
Horticulture, Animal Science or related fields is required. Experience in
organic farm or garden production is required. The successful candidate will
work with faculty in various disciplines and coordinate field research
activities. The person will be responsible to the Division Director or
Designee. The Division is converting one of its farms to an organic farming
research facility. Initial research will be on the transition followed by
research in systems of organic crop/livestock production. The individual in
the research assistant position will be responsible for the daily
management of the organic farm. Applicant should send a letter of
