Allthough there still are places around (intensive agriculture towns
etc) that still use pesticides in public places lots of cities now
use pesticidefree ways to keep the parks and other green places.
I live in such a city and it is nice to know that you can eat
berries, collect seeds or plants from the cityparks and gardens and
eat them without any risk for it is known that they are guarantied
pesticidefree.
I often am suprised about the low standards used in the USA
concerning the use of pesticides compared with nordern europe.
