Depends on the agriculture. At the weekend I visited coastal meadows
locally which are normally covered with wild orchids this time of year.
Because of access problems and the very poor land quality (mostly rocks)
combined with low cattle prices and feed shortages last winter they weren't
grazed this year and have been completely taken over by bracken. Another
year without cattle will see it move across the fine turf at the sea edge
with is ablaze with wild flowers from spring to autumn
