Black Locust trees can be used for fence posts (have been grown in rows for
just that purpose in the US since pioneer days, at least that's what I've
heard). Black Locust is extremely resistant to decomposition. The problem
will be finding some big enough and straight enough (that's why they were grown
on the fence line).
