Second National Small Farm Conference
THEME: Building Partnerships for the 21st Century

The Second National Small Farm Conference will provide an opportunity for
people in the public and private sectors, including community based
organizations, land-grant institutions, small and medium sized farmers to
strengthen collaboration and partnerships to work more effectively with the
small farm community. Participation is the key to the conference's success.
Hands-on workshops, open forum discussions, and participant-organized
networking sessions will be key features of the conference. Some of the
issues that participants will address include: marketing strategies, value
added
enterprises, grant writing, business and entrepreneurial skills,
farmer-to-farmer and beginning farmer networks.
