I hate to split hairs on language use, but I think this is vital:
What is "conventional?" I would rather see a term like Maximum profit
farming or Highly intensified farming or Big business farming. I also
hate the word commercial: all farming has something to do with
commerce unless it is subsistance. Maybe a good term would be Hi-Tech
farming.

Hear Hear, A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.. I think these
people either have little knowledge, or if they are knowledgeable
they are extremists who have a passion to see a falsehood as a truth
or they have a hidden agenda i.e. they want to scare people into
buying their products etc.
