These leads also look promising regarding non a non toxic (or relatively non toxic) means of controlling Neoleucinodes elegantalis. We have a Brazilian Reseach Unit, a Biology of Organisms lab in Venezuela, the use of pheromones (there must be pheromone hormones available for it then) and a pyrethrum (plant based) class pesticide (the last two - in English & Portuguese), all found in relation to Neoleucinodes elegantalis. If the Trichogramma works, that would be my choice.
