This statement is misleading. Copper, zinc and boron are essential
elements, necessary in certain concentrations for life. Toxic effects
occur at high concentrations. Applied at concentrations normal for
fertilizers or for their fungistatic effect (Cu) they are very definitely
*not* toxic. On the other had, commercial fungicides very definitely *are*
toxic at the concentrations applied.
