tomato information for the tropics

Dear list members,
I am new to the list and look forward to the upcoming discussions.
Currently, I am pursuing a masters program in Rio, Brazil. Here we have
innumerable pests and diseases which greatly limit the production of
organic tomatoes. The amount of pesticides used is incredible. I am
looking for bibliografic information dealing with the organic production
of tomatoes (intercopping or alley cropping with corn and also rotations
with oats and legumes) and control of pests and disease. If anyone has
any resource leads (internet or written material), it would be much
appreciated. Thanks for your help.
