line wrapping

When I get posts with unwrapping lines, the best I have figured to do
is widen the screen as wide as it will go and then scroll and scroll
and hope that the writer ends before my scroll range does. That
doesn't always happen, however, and copying and pasting the message
as Steve Groff suggested has not worked for me -- it only copies what
it "sees" which is what I see on the screen. For those who write me
privately and are amenable to it, I ask them to put in their own hard
returns, a la old fashioned type writers, and that works great. Of
course, most people aren't so amenable. The computer people in my
department at the university just say that it's either a problem on
the other end or an irreconcileable incompatibility between the two
systems. Hmm! Anita
