Re: Nutrient content of hamster, rat & mouse manure?

I would be incredible leery of using ANY rodent manure, especially in the
Southwest. Dozens of people have been sickened and many have died due to
the hantavirus, which is carried by deer mice droppings. One person died
because he cleanded out a dwelling which had accumulated a significant
number of droppings. Recent reports state that this year is a particularly
risky year for hantavirus infection.

Maybe this guy has a rodent farm, but I would not take any chances. And if
your contact is growing garlic on a large scale, can h/she get a volume
worth the effort and risk involved?
