I think worms are the best small composters.
The bulk of our kitchen waste goes to my worm bins.
I've got a black plastic outdoor composter, one of the kind given or sold
by many municipal waste agencies. However, if we used only the one outdoor
composter, it would fill quickly, just with the household waste from our
family of three.
Maybe you can increase the worm population in Philadelphia.
