And that is to begin with. The next step will be to install a border packing and processing operation that will provide an additional security boost for all concerned. Both growers and consumers groups from different parts of both countries can share the cost of that. Product will arrive in field boxes within refrigerated trucks and each fruit will be graded and packed or processed (with a predominance of fresh cut processing for salads and juices in their natural state), according to it's condition on arrival and the demand registered, where multiple options exist (i.e. pineapple chunks, juice or as part of a fruit salad). Our quality control levels will be high, and we will know exactly what is crossing the border. A variety of packaging options will be available, with an emphasis on reusable, hygienic containers that double as display boxes, to avoid excessive handling and reduce costs. However, alternative personalized options will be available as solicited by consum!
ers groups and possibly, chains.

I'd be happy to respond to any further questions you may have and to continue defining the process best followed in order to begin operations. But for now, I'd better get a little rest - It's 10 to 4 am.
