This will work to the degree you are able to attract visitors to your site. Since that is what you want, I am going to post on sanet itself and one or more other list servers dedicated to agricultural topics.

My experience has been that commercial operations which have attempted to do what you describe have failed for reasons that your contribution transends: 1).- There are no products at that site, just pointers (since it's a virtual store, not a store; and (what's worse) 2).- The buyer is separated from the seller and vice versa, due to the insistence of the mediator in participating in the comercial operation. Hence, nothing gets worked out - no understanding is reached, since the parties involved are separated by an inefficient, incompetent and relatively unresponsive or uninformed intermediary.
If you indeed are able to attract visors to your site, what you are doing could prove effective if the parties on both side can take if from there and work out an agreement. Conceivably, lasting relations could be formed via this means. In the end, it won't matter much to the parties how they were brought together, but since helping to bring them together is what you want to acheive anyway, that won't matter to you. You will have acheived your worthy goal and that's what matters.

You just did. I'll check out your site and probably post something.
