He said that three people in microbiology on campus have already started up
their own companies. Seem like a conflict of interest to me. If these
deals continue there will be a blending of private-public interests and the
public good that is supposed to be the result of land grant research will
become more in line with what corporations want in my mind. Any thoughts
on this?
