Here in MA most dairy farmers do not publicly sell raw milk (so I've been
told). The reason I have heard is that many people, especially children,
who do not grow up on a dairy farm or who do not drink the raw milk often
have a hard time digesting it. I was told it has something to do with
exposure to organisms (bacteria, etc) that farm kids grow up with. A dairy
farmer in MA gave some samples to suburban kids on a farm tour and some got
quite sick. Can they sell raw milk in VT?
