NYC Gardens

Just spoke with THE community gardener/activist in my neighborhood and
she reminded me that credit for saving the gardens also needs to be
given to the Trust for Public Land and their work over the last six
months. She said they had 25 funders lined up last fall but the Mayor
refused to have a meeting with them.

And of course the gardeners who lobbied, demonstrated and got arrested.

Hope there are lessons here that can be applied to our own situations.
