Good point Bill. All these things were considered modern advances. I think
they very appropriately relate to the GMO discussion. "Modern" advances
usually require much study before they can be deemed safe. I believe the
gist of what everyone is saying is there just hasn't been enough time
involved to deem them safe at this point, and if they are still to be
released to the public simply label them. I read recently that basically
its the customer who decides what is sold. If the customer doesn't want it
is will disappear. The article also pointed out that this is negated with
government interference. I think this is a good example labeling would give
the customer the chance to buy a different product and this is of course
what the big guys wish to avoid. Beth
