As far as I have been able to determine, scientific conclusions are
usually reached *after* a study has been done, rather than *before*?
The potential risks are far from small - see some of my recent papers
posted on my homepage for specific references. It is quite correct
to state that "there is little or no evidence", but this should not
be inferred to mean that little or no risk was actually determined in
scientific studies. Rather, that it hasn't been tested. We are not
asking the right questions - indeed, behind the facade of
substantial equivalence, is government/industry asking any questions
at all? Ann
