For aggregate VOS: Any natural-focused trade pub or, increasingly, any
trade pub. Try the Natural Foods Merchandiser, which you can read online
at www.nfm-online.com.

Prices: Try CHOICES, Second Quarter 1998; "Price Premiums for Organic
Crops," by Thomas L. Dobbs (pp. 39-41). Focus is on commodity crops.

Also Lewrene Glaser, Barry Krissoff, et.al. "Demand for Frozen Vegetables:
A Comparison of Organic and Conventional Products." This is put
out by ERS, I believe in the November 1998 Vegetables and Specialties
Situation and Outlook Report (VGS-276). If nowhere else you can probably
find the report on their website, www.econ.ag.gov; or contact Lewrene
Glaser (lkglaser@econ.ag.gov) or Barry Krissoff (barryk@econ.ag.gov).
Article tracks price premia for frozen veggies.

The Food Institute Report (3/22/99) reports that Horizon Organic Dairy
(with 2/3 of the organic milk market) is able to charge 50% price premium
over conventional milk. The Wall Street Journal (3/9/99) may have similar
numbers.

You might also try browsing through websites of the Wallace Institute for
Alternative Ag (www.hawiaa.org) and the Organic Farming Research
Foundation (www.ofrf.org) for price info.

Good luck.
