Thank you Gord. I was beginning to wonder if anyone else was as tired of
this as I am. My problem with this is that it's DISCUSSION. Lots of lip
music - no action or even suggestions. How many folks have taken the
trouble to go out and help an individual farmer, i.e. teach him good
sustainable methods, or do some real research to find things he CAN do? I
work on developing new fruits that can be grown without chemical input, and
I do it on my own. By this discussion, I should be getting tons of help
from all over because I'm developing new plants to further sustag, but I
don't. So I get seriously annoyed at people who carry on long discussions
of deep philosophical and political problems and never DO a thing.
That's why I want to learn TECHNIQUES - so I have things to teach others
that I deal with.
