Rotations after RR soybeans

While attending a sustainable meeting someone mentioned that alfalfa could
not be planted on land that had been planted to RR soybeans for 5 years. It
was said that the alfalfa would not grow. Is that correct? Doesn,t sound
right to me. Can anyone out there document this? If that is the case,
people in transition should be aware of it, if they had planted gmo beans
prior to starting transition.
Thank you
