I read the article in Consumer Reports March 1999 issue in the barber shop
last week. They did single out three pesticides in the article. I think this
is something called "dis-information" that is using experts to say that
something is or is not harmful and getting it published. A lot of people take
news reports at face value. If you hear something often enough it becomes
true. This is done everyday and it makes it very hard to find the truth. One
or both sides in this article are using dis-information to further their
particular cause.

This article should scare anyone who reads it. I am not worried about
immediately getting sick from pesticide residue but from the long term effect.
In 1999, one in two American men and one in three American women will get
cancer. In the 1950s, one in four Americans were afflicted with this deadly
disease. Why is this? The fault is not all due to pesticides, but I am sure
they contribute their share. This article even if it is not 100% true or
presents it's evidence in a highly slanted fashion is a good arguement for
organic farming methods.
