Subject: Vacations on organic farms and ranches
Dear Peggy Adams
I got your email address from an internet site containing a circular about
tours of organic farms in June 1996!
If this does happen to reach you, you may be able to point us in the right
direction.
We have a small organic farm in Co Donegal, Ireland, raising beef and
lambs. Our family will be visiting Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Vancouver
next summer and if possible would love to stay at and organic farms/ranches
which offer accomodation (possible 2-3 days only). I don't know if any
farms do this. It is worth a try as it would be great to meet some US
organic producers too.
We will be starting at Boise and travelling through Baker City, John Day
(on and off the Oregon Trail) and through to the Columbia Gorge region,
Portland and then up to Seattle. Our daughter has a pony so any whisper of
a farm with horses would raise a Whopee!
Your circular mentioned the Utah, Idho Organic Producers Association, but
with no contact address. Any help you can give me would wonderful.
Thank you.
