The USDA Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) program
and the Center for Rural Affairs are cooperating on the development of a
resource guide listing sustainable agriculture curriculum for K - 16
educators. The resource guide will enable teachers to incorporate
sustainable agriculture concepts and policies into a variety of
subjects. The Center for Rural Affairs has collected many published
curriculum and they are now in the process of review.

We would like to include in the resource guide a state listing of
centers that host field trips, offer teacher in-service training, or
educational materials relevant to agriculture and the environment. We
would also like to include a list of state organizations or associations
involved with sustainable agriculture education.

If you have information on a center or organization that you think
should be listed in this resource guide, please contact
