I've been a quite member of the listserve for 6 mo., and have just
relocated to california after working on an organic farm in PA for 2
seasons. I'm working on an early childhood literacy project, but miss
farming! I'm in the Monterey area and woould be interested in working on
a farm on weekends or just being somehow associated with the sustainable
ag. movement out here. The closest I get to farming now is driving by
the vast seas of lettuce, broccolli, and artichokes in Salinas. Help!
Does anyone have any suggestions of how or where I can look to get
involved? Thanks.
