Would it be too Pollyanna-ish to be thankful for small blessings?
Ideally, folks would do the right thing for the right reasons. Failing this, I'd rather they do the right things for the wrong reasons than just keep on doing the wrong things.
So, I'd call the farmers who switch to organic (even though they don't do so from a philosophical conviction that this is right) --> a good start.
