Subject: Resurvey of Minnesota River Basin Vegetation
To whom it may concern:
I am a graduate student in biology at Minnesota State University, Mankato,
emphasizing in plant science and limnology. I am currently preparing to
write a thesis involving resurveying vegetation along the Minnesota River
Corridor near Mankato. I believe this study can offer some insight to the
effectiveness of taking the floodplain out of crop production and aid in
BMP's of the river basin. If you could offer any suggestions for this
project (which I hope to begin this summer of '99), or if you know of any
