Visiting organic farms

Dear Saneters,

I have a bunch of college students who are interested in organic farms. The second week of May 1999, we're driving to the Rodale Institute. On the way there and back, I would like them to be able to see other organic farms. So, I'm shamelessly asking for help from you all!

If you are an organic farmer, or know of farms that we could visit, I would very much appreciate hearing from you. The dates of our trip are May 9 - 15, 1999. The route we're taking from Lexington KY to Rodale is along Highways 64, 79, 48, 81, and 78 through WV, MD, and PA. On the way back we'll take 78, 81, 76, 70, and 71 through PA, OH, and KY. I don't want to get too far off the beaten path, just so we can spend time on farms instead of driving.

I really need your help with this. This is the first time that students at the University of Kentucky have been able to take a class which concentrates on organic agriculture, so it's quite an event for us.

Thanks very much and I'm looking forward to hearing from people.

Sincerely,

Victoria Mundy
