Believe me or not I was not backtracking I just was not clear. I would not
enjoy watching the world collapse. I will enjoy watching TV on Jan 1, 00,
and watch of the show of domesdayers without the doom. Looking down my
nose a highrisers isn't acuate either, jaded would be a better word. I have
a CSA local ag. local clietele. Not a week went by when simple laziness did
not prevent someone from picking up their order (this is a universal
complaint of CSA operators). I do not count illness or vacation as
laziness, just business of modern life. This was in a tiny percent of the
population a percentage that actually on one level thinks local ag. is a
good idea. And you think I am unoptomistic about changing large amounts of
people well yes I am. Local ag is so important in my area that our farm was
one of the sites choosen as a possible sit for the new luzury high school.
Another example of the public lack of "love of the earth". Well keep
shanking up the tech boys and they might just proove you (not me) wrong. I
still am not terribly worried, and as I told someone else if its really so
bad that food riots break out I will have as much control of that kind of
world as I would at stopping an asteroid so that scene I just refuse to
worry about. Beth ps Dan is my teenage son and he basically agrees with you
in the serverity of the situation.
