Bob, to add to what you say about corporation strategies backfiring, what
Monsanto and others know is that if the food is labeled it will not sell
(unless the price is so much lower it is not profitable). A university
research farm on Vancouver Island administered rBST (or rBGH) to its dairy
herd about seveyears ago. The word got out to the community that the milk
was being sold to Dairyland, a mainland dairy. Consumers immediately
boycotted Dairyland products to the extent that they stopped buying the
milk. The only other dairy on the Island refused to buy it and the
experiment stopped. End of story.
