"Ten Years of SARE" available online

Last year, USDA's Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE)
program celebrated its first decade of providing grants to advance a
profitable, environmentally sound and socially supporting agriculture. As
part of that celebration, we published a book featuring some of the
program's best and brightest projects.

"Ten Years of SARE: A Decade of Programs, Partnerships and Progress in
Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education" includes 40
results-oriented stories on SARE projects funded nationwide. Those stories
are divided into 10 categories ranging from "Animal Production" to
"Marketing" to "Integrated Farm/Ranch Systems."

The first category, "Crop Production," is now available online at SARE's
national web site, www.sare.org Click on SARE: Ten Years and Counting...

Each month, we'll post a new category. For a free print version, contact me
via e-mail or use the contact information below.
