The Farmers' Market Trust, a Philadelphia-based organization sponsoring
food, farming and hunger prevention programs in the mid-Atlantic region, has
openings for Americorp members. If you or anyone you know has at least two
years of college and is considering a health professions career, and would
like to be make a one-year commitment to work the Farmers' Market Trust,
please contact Sandy Sherman at sbsherm@msn.com. Americorp members receive
an allowance of $8,340 plus an educational grant of up to $4,725 at the end
of their service.
