I think that all the suggestions for using delete and for better
subject lines would aleviate the problems most people are having.
Personally, I find all the information that comes off this list to be very
interesting. I think that splitting the questions off is a bad idea, since
people will have a hard time distinguishing and posting to the correct
groups. As for announcements, it would be nice to have another list for
those, but again good subject lines would solve this. So, please don't
split the list.
The only real suggestion I have, mainly for those people who are having to
"wade through tons of garbage" everyday, would be to establish a daily index
like activ-l has. This way people who don't want a huge mail spool could
simply request the documents they are interested in.
