Splitting the 'net

I support keeping all the material in a single list. I find
interesting and useful material in all aspects of the mailings I
receive. I subscribe to other lists, and, besides urging descriptive
titles, they make it possible for a user to receive periodic "bulk"
mailings on a schedule (weekly?) rather than receiving each piece of
mail separately as it is posted. They also archive their materials so
that users can get an index to the mailings; then, a user can browse
the catalog and select desired messages to review. Would this help
SANET users?

Could we develop some keywords that should go at the beginning to
subject headings to indicate more clearly the contents? For example,
calendars could be specified as "Calendar: [subject ]" or "Job
announcement: [subject]".

I'd like to not have more list subscriptions if possible, but I would
like all the info that now comes over Sanet, so I would still
subscribe if people want to switch to multiple lists. Could be
confusing to new users, though.
