I think we will lose more than we gain by separating, particularly
the discussion from the questions/answers? Aren't questions and
answers discussion??

I feel that with a little self control exercised by members ie not
including messages in replies and by providing good descriptive
subject lines we can serve everyone's needs without stifling the free
flow of information/opinion.
