As an extension entomologist, I am trying to keep up with new trends in insect
management in the sustainable agriculture area, the organic production area,
and the traditional production area. SANET is one means of doing this. I
realize that it is healthy to discuss various topics (although I have detected
lots of high blood pressure this week). I also realize that there are different
interpretations of what sustainable agriculture is and where it should be
headed.
I would like to subscribe to other discussion groups like SANET, but I am very
hesitant when I see the volume of email that I receive, much of it devoted to
fairly emotional discussions. I know of at least one colleague at Clemson who
has unsubscribed from SANET because of the emotionalism.

<It has become obvious to me where the JFK conspiracy advocates of the 60's
