I am a recent subscriber to sanet and was interested in the message
concerning the organic coffee conference. I am proposing to do some
research on organic coffee production in Costa Rica. While there over the
summer, I encountered several commercial ventures experimenting with
organic techniques as well as a farmers cooperative in Coto Brus canton
near San Vito looking for technical assistance in organic production.
Inquiries to "equal exchange" mentioned a further coop in Guanacaste
canton in a similar position. Does anyone know more about the group in
Guanacaste, or other farmer's groups currently practicing organic coffee
production? Please forward any information to me personally or through
sanet. Thanks.
