Pesticide Consumption Stats

B. N. Ames and his colleagues at U. Cal.-Berkeley used the Food and Drug
Administration's Total Diet Studies to estimate human dietary intake of
synthetic pesticides at 0.09 mg. per person per day and natural pesticide
intake at 1500 mg. per person per day.
