Land's Sake is a community oriented, non profit that manages suburban
land for productive and sustaninable agriculture and forestry
purposes. It is located in Weston, MA 15 miles west of Boston. The
director is hands-on, supervises a small staff and is responsible to
its Board of Directors. Land stewardship, community agriculture,
community forestry, and environmental education are our major project
areas.
Qualifications: Master's Degree or equivalent field expeiences in
natural resources, environmental education, land-use planning,
farming, or non profit management and administration. Understanding of
concepts relating to ecologically sound land management including
organic agriculture, market gardening, aesthetically sensitive
forestry, and environmental education.
