Requests for FOLIO InfoBases of SAN Publications...

Colleagues:
Many have inquired regarding the computer "InfoBases" that
have been prepared by the Sustainable Agriculture Network
(SAN).
SAN InfoBases can be retrieved by anonymous FTP through the
INTERNET without charge. However, because of the COPYRIGHT
restrictions on these INFOBASES through the FOLIO Corporation
RUNTIME license that we have, they should not be redistributed
to other users with the appropriate FOLIO trademarks, etc.
being clearly displayed on the packaging. Any inappropriate
use of these materials would put the Sustainable Agriculture
Network at great risk.
To retrieve these InfoBases for internal use on an IBM-PC (or
similar MS-DOS-based 8088, 8086, 80286, 80386, or 80486
machine), simply FTP to Internet address: 129.123.13.55.
This is the most precise address of the EXTSPARC.AGSCI.USU.EDU
machine.
Log-in with ANONYMOUS as your user name and your Internet
address as your password.
Change directories to the "pub" directory...
[...note that "pub" is LOWER-CASE...]
Change directories again to the "SAN" sub-directory...
[...note that "SAN" is UPPER-CASE...]
FTP Download any and all InfoBases there...
Log-off
[If you need specific instructions regarding FTP-Downloads,
see appropriate FAQ's and instructions on various Internet
client machines....]
SAN InfoBases are available ON DISKETTE for $10.00 each, plus
any foreign postage charges, from the address below....
