I am in the final stages of setting up three lists, and associated ftp,
gopher and mosiac servers. The lists are:
pl-issues a list for discussion of public land issues.
irm a list for discussion of integrated resource management issues for
range livestock operations.
ls-market a list for discussion of livestock market outlook and forcasts.
My question is; what is the appropriate manner to announce, register? or
otherwise distribute information about these lists. Are the requirements
different if I use the listserver software? Is there an official USDA
process for announcing new information sources? Are there special lists to
announce gopher and mosiac servers?
Any help would be appreciated. If you are interested in subscribing to
these lists send me e-mail and I'll be happy to add you to the list as a
charter member. (No automatic listserve yet!!)
