After reading about the low price of hogs, the bad conditions of large hog
farms, and of bit of Bill's essasys, I decided to search for local sources
of meat. We raise beef cattle and have one in the freezer, our partner
farmer has a sourse of pigs, and there is a somewhat local farm that sells
among other things chickens (although we plan on a few layers to raise
ourselves). My husband wants to dig a root cellar I thinks its great,
extend the season for our CSA members and ourselves. Any root cellar plans
or suggestions? Thank-you, Beth
