Press Release
November 29, 1998

Gene Logsdon once told me, "Our lives would be fuller and more meaningful
if we'd live them based on magic rather than science." His autobiography
"You Can Go Home Again," wonderfully depicts what he means by that and how
magic has made his life a success. He wrtes about his book, "I manage to
insult institutional religion, institutional education, commerical
journalism, and commercial agribusiness," but "I try to consider deeper
thoughts."

I love Gene's irreverent attitude, but what I liked most about this book
was its realness.....about how Gene's life is an example of how wonderful
things can be in a not so wonderful world.

On a recent visit, Gene said that "financially, farming and writing, the
way I do them, are the two worst professions."

We know he has succeeded in the way in which he lives and we would like to
help him be successful, at lease in a small way, financially, with his
writing. We think it is outrageous that the middleman in the business of
writing makes more for selling a book than the author gets for writing it,
(much like agriculture.) We are trying to change this with "You Can Go
Home Again," by offering it at a lower than suggested price and by giving
all of the profits back to the author.

To order, send $20.00 to Andy Reinhart, 3624 TR 136, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
