It turns out that my file was too long and with each repeated try, I edited it a bit. Finally, it was short enough to go through. Sorry Mr. Monster for doubting your integrity.
But the frustration of not being able to get a message out made me think about how a monster might protect itself if threatened. With significant resources, how much could it do in cyberspace to protect its image? How much in the physical? We already know they have a Pinkerton staff to track down seed savers.
Though, this must surely be a vulnerable time for the monster. It's stock price has bounced like a ping pong ball since late September. (Is this when AHP pulled out?) Now they are going to the capital market for $2.5 billion. I have to wonder, how much money they have already spent and are yet to spend to keep their stock price (MTC) up. Never under estimate how seriously a publicly-traded corporation takes its stock price.
My thoughts this morning are on those in India who are fighting a front-line battle against the monster. May they have the resources they need. May the truth be told. May their courage burn bright and their hope for a better India shine.
Have a good day. And watch out for those monsters.
