Greg -- Re your problems with an overly zealous critic. Just be
glad you don't have to get tenure in a land grant animal science dept. I
have picked up my share of overly dedicated and proactive "fans" over the
years and learned long ago to watch your back and flank, be sure such
criticism is not hurting you or your family in any way, or causing you to
miss sleep. If it does get to you, you gotta deal with it because that is
the goal.

Don't worry about losing a speaking engagement or two. As word
travels about this episode, you will get two new invitations for every one
you lose. People will want to hear why and how you became such a threat to
someone, or some constituency. Soon things will reach a new equilibrium.

It is also good to share as widely as you can the substance, if any,
of your critics. Expose what they say to the sunlight, just as you do on
Sanet. People will soon figure out what's going on.
