As you may be acquainted, the USDA National Organic Program has issued a
Federal Register notice asking for public comment on three Issue Papers.
After careful consideration the Organic Farmers Marketing Association has
developed the attached document to stimulate informed comment on the questions
raised in the Issue Papers. We encourage you to make as many additional
comments as you feel worthwhile to better clarify your position on the Issue
Papers. For the sake of brevity and timeliness we have incorporated simple
yes or no and other styles of responding to the Issue Paper questions.
The attached file of the public comment worksheet is in Rich Text Format.
Please feel free to copy and circulate to as wide an audience as possible.
Please contact me if there is any problem.
Best Regards, Eric Kindberg, erorganic@aol.com
