chemical science, an overview of WWF's work in the field, a

*Reducing Pesticides in Schools: How two elementary schools
control common pests using integrated pest management
strategies, 1998.* Community Environmental Council. Examines
arguments for IPM and identifies key factors of successful
implementation. Provides two examples of Santa Barbara
schools with IPM programs in place. Offers recommendations
for countywide implementation as well as suggestions for
starting school IPM programs in other areas. Includes IPM
resources and lesson plans to educate children about IPM

analysis of organochlorine pesticide residues in produce
using the method developed by the California Department of
Food and Agriculture. Presents an overview of pesticide
regulations and tolerances, the basics of risk assessment,
and impacts of organochlorine pesticides on human health.
Written as an introductory college-level laboratory text, the
book includes technical sections on the chemical principles
behind methods used to measure pesticide residues and data
