In South Central Nebraska, I know of a group of farmers that are trying to
argue that a corn/soybeans rotation with lots of compost should be allowed
in certified organic production. Like the majority of the farmers in the
area, they do not have livestock and do not want to have livestock. They
get their manure, which they compost, from feedlots in the area.
