This is Ooasis. Our objectives include sustainable agriculture but with
a spiritual nonprofit community service prospective. The standards we
aim for in our experimental and development work are something we call
bio-organic agriculture. The idea is to allow biological controls and
biodiversity to keep disease and insect problems under control. When
possible hardier types are planted. Then companion planting. When
necessary natural predators are introduced. Certain nontoxic
nonpolluting techniques are also employed. This might be yellow stick
sheets or any mechanical technique.
The reason for these concerns is to preserve biodiversity as much as
possible in the garden. This is a spiritual path. The ideal is to
